| MARCH 2, 2011 -- Things are progressing for our Mystery Dinner being held at Cheshire Grange on Saturday April 30th.  Our entertainment will include a play titled “The Missing Emeralds” written, staring and directed by Nancy Weissmuller.  We all know of her talents, having seen many of her productions at the Lecturer’s run-offs.  If you would like to be a member of the cast, please contact Nancy or me.  We still need a few volunteers – so any help would be appreciated. Party tip of the month:  On Sunday  I was watching an episode of Little House on the Prairie.  Son Albert says to father Charles Ingalls “You’re lucky you get to go to the Grange meetings – they must be exciting.”  Charles replies “most of them are but we have a few long-winded farmers.”  Are you that long-winded Granger??  Or the long-winded bore at a party.  When we were born we were given “one” mouth and “two” ears for a reason.  Try listening – you might be surprised at all the good things you will hear. |
