Apr News from Nutmeg Pomona No. 16

As I write this Nutmeg Pomona will be meeting tomorrow for a Degree rehearsal in preparation for the meeting and Conferral of the Fifth Degree next Sunday March 22nd. Let’s hope for a good class of candidates. I had a call for one application, let’s hope for more. The next Pomona meeting is June 28th “Election of Officers” at Beacon Valley Grange.

Apr News from Cheshire Grange No. 23

April 1: Awards Night Open Program and Tea Cup Auction April 15: Imprecise Measurements We will again present our Cheshire Community Citizen of the Year Award on April first followed by a formal reception. Plans for our fair this year are under way along with a fund raising dinner.

Mar News from Nutmeg Pomona No. 16

The next meeting of Nutmeg Pomona will be held at Cheshire Grange on Sunday, March 21st. The Fifth Degree will be conferred, and it will be our annual inspection. Rehearsal will be held on Sunday, March 14 at Cheshire Grange starting at 2 PM. Let’s hope we have another good class of candidates.

March 4: The Poetry In Our Lives March 18: Youth Night-I Remember when I was Young We are preparing for a busy few months. We will continue to meet downstairs until our first meeting in March to conserve our heating oil. We have five applications for membership with three more in the wings. A good start for our new year.

Feb. 4: Why is Football The Number One Sporting Event in the USA? Feb. 18: Connecticut Patriots The county AA Chapter held it annual Alkathon over the Christmas and New Years holidays.

Jan News from Nutmeg Pomona No. 16

Wallingford Grange did a great job of hosting the Christmas Party and meeting of Nutmeg Pomona on December 7th. This was their first meeting and our first meeting at their hall. They served pulled pork plus for refreshments. No one went home hungry. The program featured an original skit by Lecturer Rob Charbonneau.
